This is one evening you will not want to miss! Bring in the summer with us for a spectacular evening of networking, fun, and opportunity to learn from one another!

We will be holding our 4th Annual

ATD Southern Connecticut Chapter's

Got Talent Contest!

Four participants have been selected to showcase their best training tool, technique or special skill and will compete for prizes and the opportunity to be the "ATD SCC's Got Talent 2016 Winner!" Contestants will be judged by the audience (by ballot) on:

1. Originality

2. Entertainment

3. Learning Value

4. Engagement

Selected contestants and their topics are:

Emily Filloramo, Be More Extraordinary "Magician"
"Master the Inner Game to Manifest Millions"

Emily Filloramo, Founder and Chief "Magician of the Be More Extraordinary Academy, has redefined transformational leadership coaching in a profound way.  Emily's presentation  "Master the Inner Game to Manifest Millions"  will get the audience into their bodies and their voices to see the possibilities of what unleashing all parts of them feels like and to help them identify the negative self-talk, fears and insecurities that are holding them back from playing BIGGER.

Karen Kirchner, Karen Kirchner Consulting
"Expand Your View of What's Possible"

Karen Kirchner of Karen Kirchner Consulting has been an executive and team coach for the better part of 19 years, her clients ranging far and wide.  She is also co-chair of our Chapter's Coaching Community of Practice.  Karen's presentation, "Expand Your View of What's Possible", will challenge the audience to tackle a scary stretch goal in order to expand their view of what they are capable.

Anna Samorukova, Edelweiss Group
"Why Games for Learning?"

Anna Samurokova is owner and CEO of The Edelweiss Group, a consultancy that teaches finance, business acumen and strategy.  Anna is an expert in the use of business simulations having spent more than 15 years with the Tri Corporation, whom we all met earlier this year.  Anna's presentation. "Games for Engaging and Active Learning," will demonstrate the value of games for learning in comparison to more traditional means of teaching.

G. Thomas Sheffer, Strategic Solutions Group, Housatonic Community College
"Incumbent Workforce Development Training"

Tom Sheffer is Director of Workforce Development for Housatonic Community College.  His presentation, "Shop Floor ESL: Building Multi-Cultural Team Cohesion"
will demonstrate an innovative approach to improve production floor productivity, strengthen unit cohesion, and enlarge personal engagement with peers and managers.
